the symbols in hinduism

vibuthi is defined as wealth in sanskrit.it also brings the definition sacred ash, else, real wealth or more commonly, spiritual one.those who worship lord shiva and lord ganesha apply this on their forehead.vibuthi is made from burning cow dung, and it has great medicinal benefits, which have been proven scientifically.it has also been stated that cowdung is a great disinfectant.by burning it naturally, one can keep away harmful gasses and insects that may prove to be harmful to someone's health.looking at it from a more spiritual angle,it plants the seed in every human that allows them to accept death more naturally.
it also has an unique combination.it turns black when it comes to contact with ater and become white when it has dried on the skin.this denotes amore spiritual note.when one is too materialistic,it proves to be of a darker side.this is signified by the water.when emancipated, the soul becomes white, which denotes light.both householders and those who have gone into spiritual line apply it after they have taken their bath.all idols of lord shiva and lord ganesha are offered this ash and are received as blessings both in temples and in homes...
